How it all began
Aada was founded by Shishira, a Bharathanatyam performer and teacher, born from her lifelong love for classical dance and the beauty of Indian textiles. Having spent years surrounded by rich fabrics, intricate weaves, and jewellery that carry stories of tradition, she created Aada to celebrate this artistry and share it with others.
Aada offers handpicked dance practice sarees, all made in small batches. Each piece is selected for its unique design and rare colour combinations that are hard to find. These sarees are crafted to make every practice session feel special, adding beauty to the dancer’s journey in Bharathanatyam.
The collection also includes cotton and linen sarees in sustainable, eco-friendly natural dyes, along with jewellery that perfectly complements the look.
